Why Hypnosis?

Hypnosis and its benefits is being open to the ability of helping everyday people with everyday issues.

I often get asked the question, “Why would I go to see (you) a hypnotist?”
The answer is simple.

As we go about our daily lives we develop, over time, little kinks and aches throughout our body. What we usually do is go to a massage therapist, to knead out those aches and kinks. Throughout our daily lives, we are subjected to solicited, and non solicited advice. Some may be good for us, others, not so much. We are bombarded with suggestions of what to buy, and where to buy it. Friends, family, acquaintances, everyone has an opinion, and whether we like it or not, we are subjected to the opinions, advice, theories and ideologies of everyone and most things around us. This may cause some kinks in our mind. That’s where a hypnotist (I) come(s) in.

I can knead out the kinks in your mind.

How does hypnosis work?

In session hypnosis works when we become at our most relaxed state, so as the conscious part of our minds, tend to, “relax,” and therefore the subconscious part of the mind, which never relaxes, becomes more open to suggestions.

It is not a sleep state, but rather a deeply relaxed state of mind.
Just as you would be the moment prior to going to sleep.

The process of hypnosis is
safe and very effective.

The client is in control, aware of his or her surroundings at all times, and is safe. There are no drugs involved, and no ill after effects. At no point can a hypnotist ask you to do something that is against your will, or goes against your beliefs and values. If a hypnotist were to attempt this sort of conduct, it would actually cause the client to re emerge from the state of hypnosis.

How often do I need to do a session?

As often as you’d like. Everyone is different. Most of the time, the client only needs one session. Speaking for myself, I’ve been a client of hypnosis for approximately 20 years. Like a massage, I enjoy the process of hypnosis and the benefits that come with it. So, I plan on being a client for the rest of my life.
